The Bluegrass Journeymen support a mission which includes musical outreach and education as part of our international tours. The Bluegrass Journeymen Academy seeks to build upon these connections and support schools, music programs and musicians that we connect with on our journeys. We are seeking applicants to teach acoustic music (Guitar, Mandolin, Violin, Banjo, Bass) in Nepal (Kathmandu area) and India (Gangtok and Kalimpong) for extended teaching residencies. Flights, accomidation and a monthly salary are provided to teachers committing to the program. The first round of teachers will begin around May 2025, with ongoing opportunities beyond.
